Quest Academy: Alternative Middle School Setting

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This presentation will include an overview of Quest Academy and what makes it a unique and effective school program designed to re-engage unmotivated and disconnected middle school students. Quest Academy is the name of the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District’s Community Day School for students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The uniqueness of each student’s story and the relationships that are fostered through school and family partnerships, creates a family-style environment where each entity learns from the other. Quest Academy provides an engaging program that is rich in technology to meet students’ academic, social-emotional development, and attendance needs.  We strive to engage students in learning core academic standards as well as developing appropriate standards of conduct in the classroom and society. Quest Academy provides a variety of supports to enhance the likelihood of success for its students and to help them return to a traditional middle or high school.
